Do you know the glee club? TV series and film. Students sing in the glee club / choir. It’s a music/ singing club.

 What do they like doing? They like singing.

How well can they sing? They can sing very well/ they are good singers. They're very good at singing : they've got a trophy

Do they like singing? Yes, they do

How well can you sing? I can sing well/ I can’t sing very well.

Do you like singing? Yes, I do/ No I don’t 

Who is in the club? What can they do? What can't they do?

Why are they in the club? Because they can sing. What do they like doing? They like singing

Are you in the Glee Club? No, I’m not. Can you join the Glee club? Yes/ No? Why? I can/ can’t sing. It’s in the USA in a high school. I like/ don’t like singing, SO I can/ can’t join the club. 

The Glee Club

Santana, Brittany, Artie and Finn are all in the Glee Club. It’s in a TV series. They are in a high School in the USA. They can sing very well.

• I can join the Glee Club because I can sing/ play music.

≠ I can’t sing/ play music, so I can’t join the Glee Club.

• Diana, can you sing? Yes, I can
• Cheikh, can you play the guitar? No, I can’t.

Artie can play the guitar but he can’t walk. He’s in a wheelchair. He’s handicapped.

Brittany and Santana can dance. They’re cheerleaders.

Finn can play American football but he can’t dance.

All = tous      so = donc            because = parce que
